Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Max_69 Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 I have so many problems with this version, the editor in the forum does not open, I have to update the page several times, same thing to change for example the language or the theme in the footer. In the admin panel there is the same problem to create the various forums, the editor to add the description does not open and I have to reload the page several times.
Jim M Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 Unfortunately, the credentials on file in the Client Area are not accurate so I was unable to test as a member. However, when attempting to load the CKEditor as a guest use Post Before Registration, it loaded but was really slow. It looks like you may have some add-ons and a custom theme for CKEditor or your server is slowing in rendering these resources. I would suggest disabling all third party add-ons and switching back to an unmodified theme for both your community and CKEditor.

Hi, at the moment I don't have any addon installed, I use the default editor but I have had these problems from the beginning immediately after a new installation. If necessary, I can send the credentials for access as admin via private message

Please do not message credentials. The secure area in our Client Area should be used: We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. We look forward to further assisting you.
Jim M Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 Unfortunately, the editor is loading right away for me. You may wish to clear your browser's cache if you're having any issues. Could you please clarify/elaborate on the other issues you mentioned? I'm not too sure I understand what you mean there.
Max_69 Posted July 30, 2022 Author Posted July 30, 2022 Unfortunately I have problems opening almost everything, the forum side and the Admin side, I have to update the pages several times

Unfortunately, this sounds like a local issue as I am not having problems.
