I need someone to import a database to a newer version of same script

Here is the situation

I have a customized php script with a mysql database

The owner of the script came with a newer version support PHP 7.4 and 8.0 

I need to install the newer version of the software and import my old database to the newer version

Usually the author would provide some kind of upgrade option. What script are you talking about specifically?
