I've tried fluid width and not fluid width, but my new theme (Illuminate dark) looks like this on my laptop screen. What do I need to adjust?

Please switch to an unmodified theme and see if it still persists, if so, you will need to contact your theme's author for assistance.

If it still persists on an unmodified theme, please remove anything which is custom or third party. I see a custom block with what may be custom HTML so I would recommend temporarily removing that. I would also recommend to disable any advertisements and third party Javascript.
