Possible Infected Cache File

Hello. I have a malware program on my server that is saying that one of the PHP files in the cache folder is infected.  The file is a bunch of random letters and numbers.  If I delete the PHP file from the cache folder, will it cause any problems with my forums or will the forums automatically recreate the file once it has been deleted (if it is still needed for caching purposes).

Please advise.

The software will automatically recreate the file if it is deleted. It's not uncommon that a false positive would be thrown on these cache files for code that is intended to be there but we're happy to look if you would like to update your access details in the Client Area.
