Howdy folks, a new user is trying to register the username rjake on my site and is getting the error: "You are not allowed to use that display name on this site.". When I try to add him through the ACP I get the same error. There is no filter in the Ban Settings that should fail this name.

Any idea of where I can look to find the reason? I'm running v4.5.4.2 and everything is up to date.

Followup, I just tried half a dozen names and they all fail. Something is horked.

There are two places to look:

ACP > Members > Member Settings > Ban Settings

What do you have in the non-registerable names tab?

 

And:

What do you have in ACP > Members > Member Settings > Profiles > Profile Settings under allowed characters in display names?
