Can I setup automatic scale down images(attachments) and how?

 For images yes, set a "Max image size to save" I personally recommend a setting of 1200x1200, you can search for "image" in your admincp live search to locate this setting.

Thanks @Rhett then I suppose that "Maximum storage for each submission" connected to each group is the first setting to check and then if that passes it will resize the image to max 1200x1200 (keeping the ratio), right?

 

EDIT: And the resizing will improve the storage quota on the members, right?

The max size per content item is per post, so if you have that set to something like 5mb, the image being uploaded is 2mb and 3000x2000 it would be resized to 1200x1200 and end up at about 300kb as a best guess (can vary) (yes it will retain the ratio) 

Aha, the "Maximum storage for each submission" is per post - not per attachment/image - I need to increase that then 😉
