New member profile spam (interests and about me)

We have been getting lots of spam in member profiles for folks that sign up and never post. I can't seem to figure out how to set any member group restrictions to stop this.  Specifically spam is in the 'about me' and 'interests' fields.  Neither can be prohibited based on member group.

Any thoughts?  This probably affects lots of folks.
