Before conversion some questions

How does it work if I have created on my test IPS forum the same usergroups as there are in my vBulletin forum, for example Group A, Group B, Group C, Group E.

Can I assign a relation from my vBulletin usergroups to the new IPS one during the conversion process?

It makes things easier if I can set all permissions before the conversion. 

Is it possible to do the conversion in parts, means import first all members. Later the forums etc?

This would give me more time to assign subscriptions to the members etc.
