Multi container or multi tags with permissions?

Hello, I would know if is possible to assign a item into multiple categories without edit all method for urls / langs bit / related.

I am thinking to use tags because it is ready to use but I don't checked already if it provide some permissions per groups.

My mistake, I can use togheter and if there is not any categories the list of items are showed on main page.

But now must exists one category or can I omit? when the app is installed I must built on code a default category or no (leave empty the sql table container)? this is useful if the admin don't would any ACL restrictions but only filter by tags the items.

You can't have tags without a category.
