Custom Database Template without Categories

Hey guys,

Been trying to create a new DB template. but I can only add a new template for a Database that uses Categories... I don't want to use categories. I want to use that template on a page with a DB without categories. How do I create that? It used to be in there, but is has been removed...

The use of categories is defined in the database settings. It doesn’t matter at all what templates you have. 

If you turn off categories, the default database view will use the “Record Listing” template or the “Featured Records” templates.
