Bare with me as I try to explain this one. On communities one of the most underwelming and used features are pools as far as I can tell over the past decade or so of starting my own sites and being part of dozens of sites. The reason why I think this is very simple: You can only have one poll (having multiple questions is nice but not enough). Major communities and big boards have mega threads, massive debates, and threads that span hundreds if not thousands of pages in a matter of hours.

I think what is needed is simple, the ability for once a poll is closed, to insert another poll in the same thread and some how see the results of the previous poll. So what I'm basically asking for is poll history within a thread.

I have a solution: A option for leave a "content message"/comment with previous poll link when update the poll id?
