Nizan marmor Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Hello I am trying to convert anyone MyBB 1.8 database to IPB 4 and the converter should pay Database Table Prefix Where do I find it in my files ? Thanks.
AndyF Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 You would have to look at what the MyBB prefix is in phpmyadmin usually. From memory the default prefix for that software is: mybb_ lowercase like that with a trailing _

What to do? Thanks.
AndyF Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Can you post a screenshot of the error page please ? And one of 'suggested' prefix page if it has one.

AndyF Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Did you try: mybb_ As the table prefix ? If you did and you got that error, try it again without any prefix. The mybb database is on the same server / account yes ?

AndyF Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Are the databases (IPS and MyBB) on the same account ? I do not think it can read remotely very well. Normally its best if they are on the same account so it can easily read it, the same as having the MyBB files on the same account (just in a different directory) to the IPS files, so the converter app can read them.
