Posted April 15, 20168 yr As the title says, can you add images to polls? Ive tried using img tags etc but it doesn't work. Is there any other way to add them?

April 15, 20168 yr Author hmm, for some reason that doesn't work for me? All i get displayed is the name of the image, but no image? Do they need to be a certain size for polls?
April 15, 20168 yr Nope - do you mean the url of the image, or the file name of the image? Post screenshots, or a link to your site with test credentials for use.
April 15, 20168 yr Author Everytime I add the image code/address like above, when I go back in to edit the poll, the code has changed to this >>> <img src="___base_url___/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=___base_url___%2Fuploads%2Fmonthly_2016_04%2Fdogg1210.jpg&key=36aa0aada9410327fdb470644d672d8558437cd5918927c363bd6448c28cfc8a" class="ipsImage" alt="dogg1210.jpg" /> It seems to be changing the bracket at the start, then adding in source="__base__url__/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?................. Here's a test account for you to log in. Username: test1 PW: qwerty site and location of poll: https://civic5.com/forum/topic/10922-cotm-april-2016/ I'll try to add the image again ;-) so you can see whats being displayed.
April 15, 20168 yr Author The one I'm adding the image to is the poll question "1 dogg1210 (civicmb6)" This is the direct link to the image, which works fine.
April 15, 20168 yr Easy answer - you're using the "serve images from local server" proxying option which looks like it doesn't play with this functionality. Log it as a bug.
April 15, 20168 yr No problem - link to it when you've done and I'll flesh out the details if necessary.
April 15, 20168 yr Author Ahh, I've submitted a support ticket for it. Is there an area in the forum for bu reporting mate? No problem - link to it when you've done and I'll flesh out the details if necessary.
April 15, 20168 yr No worries - support ticket is fine, a bug fix will come out of it. Logging a bug, in future, via https://invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/ If not done already in the support ticket, can you provide them a link to this topic for reference?
April 15, 20168 yr Author found it! Sorry about that! Reported now, here's the link ;-) Thanks for all your help Nathan, appreciate it mate!
