Show a custom field in a template

Is there a way to show a custom field in any template? I want to show one custom field (The user automovile) in the header . To show the name of the user is enough with this:

{member="name"}

How can I do it to show a pfield? I have tried {member="field_11"} but it is not working. Thank you!
