xtech Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 One of the reasons that all IPS sites rank lower than their workdpress counterparts it's because of the rigid IPS FURL management. While wordpress installations allow users to change the way FURLS are generated, allowing them to choose the smallest and most direct ones, allowing their articles rank better in search machines as it seems the content is not as "deep", and therefore, easier for people to access it. Search engines know that. Therefore i would suggest that IP guys should allow IP pages article FURL to include just the page in front of the site address. As it currently is, an article called "bla ble blee" into a category called "beans" into a database called "meal" shows up like: www.communityname.com/meal/beans/bla-ble-blee/ Should be: www.communityname.com/bla-ble-blee/
