Import Users From Old IPB3?

My forums were severely hacked a few years ago.  I would love to use the new version of IPB but would really like to at least recover the users from my old forums.  Anyone know if this is possible?  Invision support has not been much help thus far as we do not have the old forums files.

Unfortunately, "parting" out a database is not what I'd call possible (unless you have a lot of time or money on your hands). The best option would be to get a backup from prior to when your community was hacked and use that as your database to upgrade. Alternatively, depending on the state of your database cleaning it up might be an option.
