Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
boro_boy Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Its happened 3 times now. I add blocks such as recent posts, then sidebar blocks for latest gallery info, whos online, forum stats then after about 24 hours, they all disapear and I'm having to add them all back. They only disapear from the home page, when looking at a post, the sidebar which I added to that is still there, Strange!
The Jimmo Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Are you sure you don't have any caching enabled, another admin is deleting it, you're viewing as a registered member, and/or you're database is remaining constant (aka you're not overwriting it with old data)
boro_boy Posted March 31, 2015 Author Posted March 31, 2015 I don't think any other admins would delete it, i'll ask but can't see it. I don't have any caching enabled. I'm logged in too. Its just strange!I I get to the bottom of this i'll let you know
boro_boy Posted April 1, 2015 Author Posted April 1, 2015 No logs, I even added another password to prevent the admins from loging into the control panel. And low and behold, all of the blocks I put on yesterday had vanished from the home page 24 hours later!!!! Is no one else experiencing this!
The Jimmo Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 And the data is remaining constant in the database? Anything else on the suite having this issue?
boro_boy Posted April 1, 2015 Author Posted April 1, 2015 Yeah no other problems with the database.I have the blocks on the threads when your reading posts on the right hand side, they are good, they stay as they are. But on the forum home, they seem to reset and disappear at about 24 hours after I add them. Its strange, so I keep having to add them back! Its probably something wrong at my side if no one else is having this problem.
The Jimmo Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Have you submitted a support ticket yet in the client portal? Unfortunately, I don't think I have any helpful suggestions.
boro_boy Posted April 2, 2015 Author Posted April 2, 2015 No i'll do one now, its just happened again arghh!!!Thanks for your help anyway!
