if IPB 4 is installed in a folder, lets say /community/ but then i want to change the folder name, i cant just rename the folder right ?

What should i do ?

you would also need to change the file storage settings in advanced settings....

Do we have to inform IPS somewhere we changed the folder or do they just check the forum i still on the same domain ?

you would need to change the url in the client area here I guess...
