Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted March 2, 201510 yr In Pages 4.0 it seems like you're dumping the entirety of the article into the meta name="description" field. This is really bad unless every article is only 150 - 160 characters long. Simply truncating the text is not the answer either. In 3.4.x we have two fields in articles for Meta Keywords and Meta Description and these two got sent out to the appropriate meta tags when the page is generated. Meta Keywords doesn't appear to be generated at all. I realize that Google doesn't use keywords for Search Engine results, but other search engines and advertising engines do. This needs to be returned to Pages.
