Delete messages from chat?

Hi. Is there any way to delete specific messages from the chat? Or all the messages?

It would be really useful against spammers (human, not bots).

There is no way (and there are no plans to introduce to my knowledge) to delete messages in chat. They are stored remotely and deleting isn't something terribly important in a chat application, which automatically cycles out older chats as newer ones come in.

If I may: kicking users is far more effective than deleting individual messages and that feature is available to you. If users persist in spamming your chat room, it may be prudent to infract them.

This is a serious issue for me. I recommend a clear chat button. So please.. plan on adding this feature. I can careless if it is removed from the database.. I just want the content to removed from the chat room.
