Luis Manson Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 maybe you should check also in mysql "show processlist" im not very knowledable at this, but in my case some times when a heavy query is running apache/php gets stuck with some SQL locks and load goes up for some time my server was also an i7 with 6Gb ram - nginx/fpm/mysql/mail with the load <3 and near 1K users online, it had 3 to 5 load spikes a day which im still unable to track down, right now i had moved web/php to an i3 and also its stable, but SQL still on the i7
