I would like to give some of my forum moderators access to the Announcements module in the ModeratorCP. That way they can post their own announcements in the forums they moderate.

Currently the only way to allow them to post announcements is to make them super moderators, which has some drawbacks. For one, they can then see/edit anybody else's announcements too. Plus they can now moderate and edit topics in any forum they have access to. I definitely don't want to give them that!

I support this idea. I would like section moderators to have the ability to add and edit announcements in the forums they are in charge of, as I do have a few section-specific "informational" announcements that sometimes need to have their content modified.
