Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Mat Barrie Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 That probably didn't make sense. What I'm referring to is how when creating a setting in the ACP, you can use one of 4 hardcoded macros (#show_forums#, #show_groups#, #show_applications#, or #show_skins#). It'd be good if an application could register its own macro. For example, "myapp" could register for "#show_myappfoo#", and myapp would be able to return a list of keys and values to display in the multi-select or dropdown box at display, so we don't have to basically reimplement the settings box if we want to, for example, create an app that can have modules to extend it.
bfarber Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Hmm. I see where you are going with the idea, but I believe you can already handle what you need to through the custom eval code box. I'd have to check though.
