problem with special chars in date

I am just setting up my first IPB installation, converting from phpBB. I have localized my installation with the german language pack, and everything shows fine, except for one little thing.



That is a snip of the user profile within threads. The special char that is in the german word for "March" (M

OK, I have found another inconsistency which draws my suspicion away from the php strtime function to some inconsistency in the programming.

Attached you find a snip from the forum, with the German language pack installed, the screen that notifies a newly registered user of the completion of the sign-up process.

What Character Set's are you using on your Database (latin_ci, utf_8_unicode etc), do you also have UTF-8 enabled
