The codebox we used before this one had an update and now it makes the colors to brush different languages correctly, has line numbers, a print function, copy function and much more.


I'm sure theres a reason you switched, I'm just curious.

They dropped it since it became "Donationware" (Not 100% sure)

I believe it was mostly a preference to avoid 3rd-party dependence as much as possible. In-house bugs can be dealt with one way or another, and it's at least clear what's going on. Bugs that come out of other peoples' creations, well, that becomes problematic. Some things [Prototype, Lightbox, Google codebox or whatever it is] aren't so much of an issue because they are widely used and heavily supported; Syntax Highlighter doesn't really have either going for it.
