Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Please Delete Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 I have been with Invision for so long I cannot remember anything else, but the one thing that consistently gets me is the color of the background on the folder images. I know we are recycling them from one skin to another but how hard could it be to match the background color of the row that displays the folder icons to the background color of the icons. If you market a piece of top line piece of software (and may I add that in my opinion Invision is just that) then you have to look at the smallest of details. The folder icons just look pasted in from a previous skin. Now I know the folder icons get used in several different tables with several different backgrounds, so the solution sits in a PNG or transparent image. Or the easiest way would be to assure all backgrounds, where the folders are displayed, should be the same color. It's not a big deal guys but it just makes us look a tiny bit amateurish. I know you scower the code to assure the best piece of software is released, so how come not as much effort is put into the skin? I cannot be the only person noticing these things. Now that I am done criticizing  I wish to leave on a high note by saying the Pro skin is refreshing and I am very much enjoying it, kudos to the author for the great job.
bfarber Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 The skins will get a major overhaul in 3.0, I promise.
