Ok i have a long story,

I recently bought

a hosting plan from ips, I dont want to host with them anymore, Anyways, Im going to host with someone else, But if i cancle my hosting plan i wont have access to the client area or my downloads section, in case theirs a new upgrade for ipb, how will i get it?

Hi,

The free license included with hosting plans is tied to that hosting account only, you can't transfer it to another site or host. Unfortunately that means when you cancel your hosting account, you will lose access to IPB upgrades and downloads. If you want to continue running IPB on your new host, you'll need to purchase an IPB license as normal via this page. Your database from your IPS hosting account can be exported so you don't lose your data.
