RC 2 Big Problems

I have just installed the IPB RC 2 to try it and the result is ........surprise:

I uploaded all the files and checked them twice.

I did reinstall the forum twice and get the same result...

Any ideas.... :blink: :blink:

Ok, I tried to watch it with IE and it semms ok but with firefox the skin just......disapear +/-. ( from 4 different PC )

Oh... Clear the cache in Firefox.

I'm using FF and it looks perfectly fine; the problem is in your end... (clear your cache).

Folks are you all getting this error while in the topics?

Sorry guys, I think I was doing to many thingas at the same time and i efectivly forgot to clear the cache.......

I receive no error in Firefox or IE while viewing the welcome topic.

You're referring to the syntax error on line 235 or so? Yeah, a complete mess up on IPS' part with that block of Javascript. What you can do is simply go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > "Display a notification about every script error" - which you'll turn off.

Then, you'll just have an irritating "There was an error" icon.

(For IPS, either use the SGML comment, or the XML comment. You really don't need both)

Yes, that is a very big screw up. Also the gallery is screwed up. I didnt notice until today.
