Lemon Head Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 Suggestion: bring back the Birthday Greeting Email (I'm sure it used to be in v1.3). Give it an option in the AdminCP so that you can choose what message you want to send. Also, an Anniversary Greeting whenever a new year passes since a Member joined. Both should have enable/disable options.
damien245uk Posted May 23, 2005 Posted May 23, 2005 Both nice features, perhaps more so the anniversary of board joining..? I'd love to see both of these implemented though, although I'm sure (in the case of board joining) it would be pretty easy to knock up a script that runs via IPB 'task manager' and looks at the members table to figure out how long they've been a member etc.
MindTooth Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 I was planning on making a new post when I thought about this nice future called "search", so you got my blessing to add this birthday-future...
Mesmer Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Suggestion: bring back the Birthday Greeting Email (I'm sure it used to be in v1.3). ehm.. I've never seen this option in v1.3. But it would be a great feature. Ad my vote.
tom-riddle Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Great suggestion! I'd really like that option. :)
MindTooth Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 phpBB has this option. So I think IPB users would gladly accept this future.
