Feature suggestion:

Link on the index to display the Hottest Topics.

Maybe a stats page that would list the hottest topics, highest rated and most viewed

or a special color... like normal topics are blue... red topics are red... and hottest topics are yellow...?

I think the point of their request is to be able to access them all from one page, instead of just seeing them in the individual forums.

but still... there would be kinda ALOT of topics listed...

Could always be in pre-collapsed sections or tabbed so that the visitor selects the type of messages they want to list, then in there, list by number of views, replies, latest post, rating, topic starter, last poster, etc.

I think it would be rather nice, because then someone who has been away from a board for awhile could easily catch up on all the good stuff by reading the hot topics with the most recent posts in them. I can actually see myself playing with a feature like that.

It would be better as a link. "View Hottest topics".
