P_O_L_O Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 Hello ! I would like to know if it was (or would be :D ) possible to change the URL Type from index.php?showtopic=104&pid=1160&st=0&#entry1160 to 104-1160-0#id1160, or something like that, to give one OWN url to each post and topic. I ask that because in Webalizer for example, each link to my website from un Invision Board is mentionned as index.php. That's also a feature quite used on the web now, so... :) So, would it be, or is it possible ? (w00t)
elj Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 You're probably talking about mod_rewrite? Something like index.php/showtopic/104/pid/1160/entry/1160 might be possible, but I could just be talking rubbish. :)
fireshark Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 no, like in vbulletin: showtopic.php phpbb: posting.php etc...
P_O_L_O Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 So, what do you think about that the IPB team ? ;) It's possible on many blogs for example... http://standblog.org/blog/2005/04/29/93114...illions-de-fois Like that for example ;)
