I wanna if IPB could integrate this feature.

Feature request: Pay-per-read (similar but different from subscription)

Used in: Selected topics and/or selected forums

Desc:

Require users to pay to read a topic. After payment goes through, the user can login with his ID, PWD and read the topic for selected duration of time, one day, one week or forever, etc.

This would be better off as a mod.

Also, turn off the tv, you are watching Pay-Per-View way too much.

I personally can't see a need for this except in cases for reading archived news articles. In that case, a subscription to the news articles would be the best idea, where they can read everything in that area for the selected amount of time.
