To encourage members to engage with news and other purposes admins are using Pages for, it would be wonderful if we could have polls with Pages. I believe it would help many communities to make their members engage in regard to what they utilize Pages Database for because some people they don't like to leave a comment, or they are much active etc...

Greetings, I'm having a large problem on my forum where someone signs up using a third-party login method (Google, Facebook, Twitter, Discord) and then sends a batch of private messages to members who have previously posted in the forum they are looking for some unique item (we have a "Wanted" marketplace forum, which is where most of these posts are located). The scammer states that they have the item, and to send them a message at a specified email address. It's bad enough that I have had to post a warning at the top of my Marketplace forum to educate people about this scam, and I've heard this is a common issue on many forums these days. The problem is that not all users select to see all forums ( categories ). I posted something this week that I wanted EVERY user to see but some had opted out. I could merge all forums into one but that sort of sucks also. I also worry that users accidentally select one forum and do to realize they are only seeing a portion of the whole site. Especially in mobile. ( Smarter users would be great but that is another topic) Maybe a mass reset button that assigns all forums to all users? Of a forum that can not be unselected? Ideas? Would it be better to have a Class Thread, similar to Cloud Discussion? I'm asking because certain topics are exclusive to that group and when mixed with Classic, it seems like there's a hierarchy where Cloud is given more attention and Classic is neglected. Even from a business perspective, I understand that coding is faster in Cloud.

Hello! I am currently on the Creator Pro plan and I would love the ability to sort courses into categories. Another suggestion would be to have a frontend archive of past courses so users in certain groups could view them. Thanks!

It seems like every time I need to update an app, I have to buy it at full price again, despite having done that multiple times? If I buy an app it should be mine, this subscription model is just capitalist madness. Same goes for an IPS update: it seems like every major IPS update breaks every app I own, then I have to rebuy all the apps again in order to get the fixed version. As it stands, I am just not updating my IPS installation any more because of this exact situation. Who made the decision to employ this model, and what is my motivation to upgrade if every time I do I have to spend a bunch of money on getting a fixed app?

SO I like the new Gallery but it would be nice if it would work better in a few regards which I listed below 1. ALBUM COVERS Sometimes you just want a static album cover not to change, versus the album cover always being the latest picture. This is especially the case for video albums where you might want to select a specific cover for that album. 2. GALLERY CATEGORIES It also would be nice to be able to dedicate a category to either video or images and have the labels appropriately show up. Reporting is a big part of forum management for our site - and our moderator team uses it extensively each day. Often Reports raise topics that do require ongoing discussion and or evaluation between mods/admin, but reports only live a short life before they disappear into the Completed reports list. It would be handy to be able to move a report to a discussion thread for further, well, discussion (Eg. an admin/mod-only subforum).

I was trying to find if it was already suggested but I didn't find anything. I'm sorry if it was already suggested. Actual roles immunity system is sucks (there is no immunity system actually). You can only mark role as administartor and prevent other roles to touch it. But I think it would be better if you be able to sort them via drag & drop system so it would be working like immunity system (just like in Discord). So if you have high role you can only touch all roles below your highest role. You can't ban, edit content, do other moderator actions if user have higher role than yours. In a community set up to use Elasticsearch, the Elasticsearch server becoming unavailable for any reason, even temporarily, causes Invision Community to begin throwing unhandled exceptions. It's most obvious on user profiles which turn into public-facing internal server errors when this happens. This situation would make sense to handle more gracefully by detecting it and, at minimum, doing at least the following: Show an alert to administrators that the Elasticsearch server is inaccessible, similar to the ones that appear when the Redis server or background tasks aren't working correctly. Current settings are for image dimensions only, not filesize. This works for compressed JPG, but uncompressed files can get very big, especially GIF "video".

Hello, I am currently missing a feature when creating a field for “Profile Fields” . I would like to display the field in two different languages depending on the selected language. The form field name has the possibility to display another language but the options of the select box does not. Is there a way to display a different language in the options of the select box when another language is selected? Hey there, I was wondering whether there is any keyboard shortcut for the next under topic link that can be found at the bottom of each topic. I have to go through hundreds of new topics updates, and I waste so so so so MUCH time scrolling with the mouse and clicking on the link. Something like other browser's shortcuts like COMMAND + ENTER to submit the post, etc. Is there anything like that or would it be possible to build such a functionality? Thanks a lot

Please add a forum index data-pagecontroller="" for each view; traditional, fluid, etc. This way we can target elements on the page with CSS specific to that view. Currently all views are data-pagecontroller="index"

This was suggested as a payment system by one of my would-be customers: https://xsolla.com/ It looks like this payment gateway is open to all countries and is not being affected by any sanctions. I don't know anything about them but they support subscriptions, which is what we use.

The new(ish) Images profile tab shows all the time, even if it has nothing to show. That's different to the other extensions (eg gallery albums, which is separate for reasons that elude me, or custom fields), which only show up if there's content to display. My personal opinion is that this tab is pretty pointless for most sites, because the same stuff is already available in the user's content page. I'm not bothered whether it stays or goes though, as long as it can stay out of the way when it's empty and just a waste of space.

There is a new box called "Recently Commented Images", is it possible to provide such a box for forum posts?The current box is a bit impractical because if you now have a box that displays the last 5 posts and a topic receives 3 replies, the box is already almost full with the same topic. But the Topic box is just as impractical because: it always shows the date and avatar of the topic creator and not the data of the last poster. Both are a bit confusing.

@Matt there's a question I always ask myself. "Why didn't IPS add other storage methods until today?" Amazon S3 can be a very expensive option for some people. FTP can be a much more interesting option, allowing administrators to distribute their files on different servers. This also helps to reduce the processing load of files such as downloads and gallery on main server where the site is installed.

Despite that Pages App has "Reviews" tab for entries they are not used for SCHEMA JSON. There is no rich snippet for it. Google is focusing more and more on direct answers, answer boxes, review boxes, faq schemas. We need those in IPB. Invision teams says on and on about SEO improvements so please add something that really works for SEO and getting higher CTR. Now this service worker cache refresh is associated with "Cache sidebar, header and footer blocks".
