Real Deal

My name is Brandon, and I'm a huge NBA, Kobe Bryant and Los Angeles Lakers fan (in that order, sorry guys). I love to play ball as much as I do watching it. I would be a shooting guard if I played college ball...not much of a point guard. I can create my own shot, I have very good handles, and I can shoot on anyone. Unfortunately, I suffered a shattered ankle, and combined with diabetes (I'm a Type I diabetic), doctors would not give me a cleared physical to play.

I started OTRBasketball (an all-NBA board) back in 2005 to build a message board that stressed the word "community." From the first day, my focus was on member relationships, not post count or activity (as you see with almost every other board out there). I wanted to find my dedicated guys first. My intentions are to own OTRBasketball until the end, and there's no plan on ending it anytime soon. OTR will never change ownership (unless I'm planted into the Earth, for some reason), and I will never stop pushing the site, these members or myself on our way to becoming one of, if not the, best basketball message board on the net.
