  1. That server admin is me, unfortunately. Does Invisionboard strip EXIF data from photos uploaded (I know there is a setting to strip sensitive data)?
  2. There's nothing special about it, just AWS Linux 2023 with PHP, MariaDB, Redis and the other required software InvisionBoard requires. Very basic setup since 2009.
  3. @Jim M He posted some images that were sideways. They posted fine in your test forum, although I can't see it. Given I moved to a new OS with all new packages installed, some being the latest or near latest version. What other things should I be looking for to debug this?
  4. @Jim M He says he signed out and signed back in and still gets that same 250kb error.
  5. @Jim M I add the owner's account to my alternative account. He is still getting the 250kb error. Do you need to remove him from he "Friends" group?
  6. @Jim M Thanks, that makes sense. I just added him, so I'll see if he can post and reproduce the issue.
  7. @Jim M Thanks, the usename is mckay1970
  8. @Jim M This is the error he is getting when he tries to post to Invisioncommunity's test forum. I really want to try to reproduce on your site.
  9. @Marc @Jim M I migrated the site to a brand new OS with all new packages installed, the latest or very near versions of the latest software such as PHP, MariaDB, and so on. The problem still persists. How can the site owner to tests uploads here on your community site? He posted on the test forum that you suggested but got a response that the file size is too big (forget the exact message).
  10. It post fine on our site when I upload it.
  11. 1536 × 2048 pixels
  12. Photo sent through email and text look fine.
  13. I don’t have an Android device. The photo looks fine on his phone. It gets rotated when uploaded to the site, even in thumbnail preview. Tried both GD and Imagemagick, same results.
