As previously reported in my first bug report for Beta 9 (thread has disappeared?) and in the following posts:

The Images Widget outputs a background for the uploaded images:

  • For single image mode - the widget duplicates the foreground image and expands it as a background with a gradient overlay and shadow overlay effect

  • For multi image mode - the widget applies a grey colour background +the already mentioned gradient & shadow overlay

What does this mean? Transparent images look terrible against contrasting background colours and background images.

Image below clearly shows the styling issue with both single and multi image widgets:

Request: provide the option under Widget Advanced settings to apply or not the effects as shown in the screen snip so IC5 customers can choose who they wish to present the Image Widget on their website.
