Follow order

Hello! I want that anybody explain me to how "follow by something" works.
I am interested in 2 type of following content - forum and post

So, imagine, i will turn on all types of notification
How it works:
If I follow "forum", I will get notifications when somebody adds new topic in that forum

If I follow "topic", I will get notifications when somebody writes new post in that topic

So if I following forum and it has subforums - i will not get notifications if somebody will add any new topic or post in them
Is that working so?

P.S. I need that if somebody follows a forum, then he or she automatic follows any new topic in that forum.

You will not receive notifications.

Category is forum. Forum is forum. Subforum is forum. You work with forum.

You can create a plugin.

Hello! Thanks for answer.

I am already create plugin which adds "following by" to all forums where user has read permission

So, now I will try to create plugin which adds "following by" to new topic to all users follow forum where this topic will be added
