Exclude a group from receiving emails

I have a group that I move members into when they have a defunct email account or I get rejected/bounce backs. Can we have an option in the group settings to NOT send an email to that group for all email services (globally exclude it from receiving any emails?)?. Mostly this is caused by them following a forum or thread and having notifications sent by email.
