How to post a topic using forms?

I'm trying to find documentation on how to post a topic via the form helper (https://community.invisionpower.com/4docs/advanced-usage/development/form-helper-r77/).

Do you know of any documentation or could you guide me on how to do it.

Only documentation I can find is for IPB 3.4 (https://www.invisionpower.com/support/guides/_/advanced-and-developers/api-methods/topic-posting-library-classpostphp-r260)
