Posted August 30, 201212 yr This would be a very useful setting for forums that use Sphinx search. Especially large forums where the Sphinx index uodate/rebuild cannot be run every 5 minutes (and even then the delay is annoying). Polling the database directly, like it's currently possible for "View new content" would eliminate this issue.
