Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted May 26, 201212 yr If a hook has settings then if the Admin disables the hook (note not remove it is turned off) then the settings that control the hook should be hidden from the settings side to avoid confusion. What I am seeing with Awards is that people want various 'Auto-Awards' each requires a hook so that if it isn't wanted it is off to save overhead. But the settings for that still appear under the tab for the application and it is easy for people to be confused and think that they are doing something setting-wise when the hook is actually turned off. Also, it would remove the dross for people not wanting those settings auto-magickally.
