My friend ran across the following MySQL errors while using IPB 2.2

SQL error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11)

I don't know exactly if these were a fault of IPB 2.2 or my host because around the same time my friend was testing IPB 2.2 out, my host's server was extremely slow and was causing a lot of 404's and then eventfully went down due to a phishing scam someone was doing. But I thought I would post the errors he got just in case it was something to do with IPB 2.2

The former one sounds like a coding issue, the latter is almost certianly an issue with your server that can be fixed by restarting mySQL if you have access to do that. :)
