IPB 2.1 final's RTE and standard editor are missing some buttons, like the code tags, html tags, and the sql tags. It'd be nice to see all of them there, but if not at least have the code tags back.

This is not a bug in IPB but is more of a feature suggestion.

I have no idea how but I can sometimes think of some ideas very fast and that just happend (6:56 AM)

If Matt adds the code button back have a drop down menu of what type of "code" tags you want like PHP, SQL, etc. And optionaly "change" the color of the syntax like ECHO, SELECT, FROM, ORDER, IF, ELSE, WHILE. etc. (yes I know php code proberly can't be in caps).

Agreed with both these ideas. Perhaps however, a better way of showing quote boxes/code boxes inside the RTE would be nice.
