I was thinking invision needed one of the two following options (or both)

-Permission setting pre-sets. You set which permission masks have permission to which things for a forum, then when you create a forum, you can apply one of the pre-sets you made

-Permissions like, when you make a forum, you can select to make it initially copy the permission settings of another forum. However chaning one of them would still be separate so it just gets the settings initially from the other.

This would be helpful when creating boards that only guests can view/not view.
