December 5, 200420 yr You need to go in the Administration section in the admin CP. There you'll find the Manage Emoticons link. First, you need to make sure your emoticons folder is chmodded 777. That folder would be found in html/emoticons if my memory serves me right...
December 7, 200420 yr I'm having problems adding emoticons as well. When I go to add a new folder in the Emoticon Manager I get this: IPB cannot create a new folder for you, please create the folder manually using FTP in 'style_emoticons' and from there I'm lost. :(
December 8, 200420 yr if your using a ftp program, like cuteftp, right click on the folder you want to make the changes to, then select CHMOD, and enter the value you want, in case of emotes, 777

March 13, 200519 yr I'm using dreamweaver and can't find CHMOD anywhere. Can someone help me? You don't have to if you don't want to though.
