I would like the ability to define which groups see the announcements. Sometimes you want to announce something to only one group.

There is a modification which is a "messenger" that pops up an announcement at the top of the main page.

I have seen that, but that is not what I am looking for. I want to place specific announcements for specific groups in specific fourms.
