genes|s Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 There's an option to set x number of days to remove these validating registrations. There should also be an option to put these members into a different group, like banned after x number of days. It helps maintain the number of users vs user number.

genes|s Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 Thanks, or at least an option to put them in banned or any other group when you're on manage validating users screen. Would be useful. um and just in that, maybe a select all button would be a great help too.

Why Two Kay Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 There is already a feature like this, In the Admin CP: View All General Settings: Security and Privacy: Then scroll down to Medium Securite (see picture attached) and you will see an option to remove them if they dont validate theie e-mail within a certain number of days. Mine is set to 7.
Grant Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 That is not what they were saying. They would like IPB to move the validating users that were set to 7 days before deletion to go to a members group after the time before deletion met the day of deletion. So for example, Bob was validating for 3 days and that was the set time for validation deletion. Insted of Bob's user account being deleted, bobs account would go to the banned group. Hope that helps.

Digi Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 so they can pretend to have more members than they really have ;) Banned = +1 to total member count Deleted = +0 to total member count -Digi-
genes|s Posted October 23, 2004 Posted October 23, 2004 or make the validating group count towards number of members.
