Hello! I am writing regarding an issue with opening attachments posted on our InvisionCommunity. We discovered earlier this week that when people tried to open the attachments, they instead displayed this error message: "Sorry! We could not locate the item you are trying to view." The error code is 2S328/2. To try and address the issue we tried clearing system caches, but that did not fix the problem. I also see that version 4.7.19 is now available to be installed and that the issue might be fixed in the upgrade, but when I started install, it said that 3 custom resources may need attention: Default …

Hi, I am trying to update an external app (Tapatalk) but although I seem to successfully upload version 4.2.2 it continually says the version is 2.1.1. in the Dashboard and as a result no-one can see my forum on Tapatalk as it is using an out of date version. I have: Checked with Tapatalk support for the correct version for Invision Tried completely reinstalling and uploading the latest version (but bizarrely it still goes back to the old version) Got a cache on the forum (Cloudflare) Recently moved servers I know the support of Tapatalk is their responsibility but is there anything on the Invision side I need to check? Hello IC Community I have the following notification in ACP: I run the latest IC Version and have only one plugin installed: SuperReview, from Ralf Hermann, OpenType Initially some other plugins were installed and I had other tasks not running, but in the meantime, only one plugin is left and it is unlikely that this one causes the queue task not to run? Cache as been cleared and else not really any other modifications. What else could I do to get the queue task running. When initiating manually, the progress bar remains at 0% and after some time the page goes into a repeated redirect and eventually an error 500 is produced... Thanks for advice…

Current installation: 4.7.18 Attached is a printscreen from the ACP Statistics/Activity/Overview. As you can see, for every page application, if that is what you call them, the comment count is identical. I mentioned this to @Terabyte and he thought it may be an IPS bug.

Hi! As of about a month or two ago, every once a couple of weeks, my default homepage keeps resetting to a random Page (always different...). Does anyone know anything about the system behind the homepage? Any insights would be useful, because I have absolutely no idea what triggers it or what happens. The "make default page for this folder" mark for the page is set correctly, even when the homepage shows up as a different page... I've had the same homepage for 5+ years with zero issues before. Anything would be helpful, thank you!

During the upgrade from v4.7.18 to v4.7.19, the upgrade process was interrupted by the following error message: CANNOT_WRITE /var/www/html/107786/system/File/Amazon.php::328 After 'Retry' attempts failed (coming back the same error message, I was able to 'Continue' with the upgrade. It did finish to completion; however, is this upgrade error during the process one of concern? Thanks, Mike

We have a new user to our site who just registered and is not being allowed to post any topics to our forum. He keeps getting a message that he is banned and not allowed to post. Could a site admin please check. I have whitelisted his IP address that keeps showing up in the Spam Defense.

We are on vs 4.7.16 but cannot upgrade. It directs to the upgrade area. It says to confirm third party resource check. After which point the continue button is avaliable. Then it redirects to a page that says no "There are no applications available to upgrade". We believe this also may be affecting our downloads since no previous downloads are working. It starts here -> /admin/?app=core&module=system&controller=upgrade And then goes here -> /admin/upgrade/?controller=applications&key=<REDACTED>

Dear IPS support, affected file: system/Content/Controller.php The function "report()" doesn't check if there is more than one type available. It shows always the selection box with one entry. I have observed this for CMS\records. The function "_report( $commentClass, $comment, $item )" does this check and the dropdown is hidden if there are no custom types defined. Please have a look and add this check in th "report()" function too. Thanks.

Hi, I'm attaching sound files on pages and inserting them into the body; they range from 10 minutes to 50 minutes long. When opening the page on an iPhone 13 Pro, they often do not load, and we get an error, and they will not play. I have tried this on various browsers on the iPhone, and it's the same. They do download ok, but not play. A quick test on an Android phone did not show this error. This is not happening on my desktop; it is connected to 30MB of broadband, and the iPhone is too. When a poll allows for multiple answers, the percentage are tallied as a percent of answers, when they should be tallied a a percent of voters? For example below, 53 voters out of 69 have selected the 2nd answer, that should be 76.81% and not 22.94%?

Good evening! I guess the page is not supposed to look like this... I thought maybe the translation has broken something in the code, but when I reinstalled the previous translation and checked the new lines, I didn't find any missing brackets or something. After todays episode of "forum maintenance", it seems some members are complaining of missing emojis. I have asked them to clear their browsers but upon looking myself, I see that there are a number missing. Browsers are cleared, as per the email that was sent however, this is consistent across both sites here.

Hi as in the title, am unable to login to my forum and when I try to use the forgotten/recover password feature it doesn't send an email to my registered email address. Sadly getting older getting more forgetful and trying to resolve the issue if disappearing images since yesterday but cannot login, or access the admin area to follow the advice provided here. I downloaded and installed the security update 4.7.19 to my live instance, and have been hit with this error at the very start of the upgrade process: I cannot proceed, refreshing does nothing, and I cannot roll back the option to initiate the upgrade to "unlock" my community - as a result my website is now stuck on the 'upgrading' notice page and I cannot resolve this. This is urgent as I need the site to be live today; can someone please assist?
