I have a store item that can be bought by guests. I'm sure I don't fully understand the workflow so I'm mainly curious how or why an invoice is still pending and "waiting for payment" after the payment transaction is approved? There is a linked transaction showing the payment received and approved. I'm fairly sure in the past in these situations the purchaser has an account created when the transaction completes, but the email address (and real name, and several known aliases) associated with this purchaser are not listed in members. Hello, How can i disable/turn off that automatic browser language detection. Do be honest it's a very bad idea detect browser language and then decide that person likes that on forum. 95% percent users on my forum uses ENG browsers but that does not mean they like forum on that language. Guest default language should be forced and registered users language also forced to one. If someone want's then it can change it back to english. Like it was on ip 3.4

Is it possible to do 3 month premium subscription without renewal? I want to have a static purchase, without renewal options that will upgrade member to a certain group, but I want after 3 months to return him back to the standard group. As far as I can see the expiring options are all tied up to the renewal.

Can anyone help me with this - bearing in mind I am not technically minded so do not understand jargon etc. Our IP board sits within our Memberpress membership site. IP board is speaking to Memberpress to pull member information. We have 2 types of members with access to our membership site. 1) people who pay to access our paid-for content 2) people who give us their email to access free resources Both types of people will have a username and password to login to the membership site, but will see different things when logged in. I am a needy customer, I contact support all the time . I don't want to delete the Invision Support account, but I'm constantly prompted to do so in the ACP, "You have recently contacted Invision Community technical support and an AdminCP account was created for our team to use." --- What field/fields is that thing looking at to determine that one of these accounts is a Support account?

When I logged into my site, I received an inquiry from one of my members that he received an email message from my community indicating that someone has logged in from a different location into his account. The way he phrased the message indicates that the message came from the IPS licensed software that I use on my site. The thing is, I don't recall the IPS software, ever, sending these kind of warning messages. But, I'm not sure what kind of built-in safeguards that IPS4 has. The message he sent me? I would like to be able to sell a 12 month membership via commerce. The membership would run from the 1st April to the 31st March each year and cost $80 If the membership is purchased prior to the 1st June it would only cost $70 No matter what point in time the membership was purchased, it should expire on the 31st March the following year, with a 30 day grace period. How do I set this up please?

I'd like to create one (or maybe more?) featured blog in the community. To help drive traffic, I'd like to give it a more simplified URL than the one that is automatically generated. Think of something like www.mycommunity.com/myblog instead of www.mycommunity.com/blogs/blog/4-myblog. I can create a Page with the desired URL and add a feed of all blogs, but can I feature just one blog this way? I'm not super savvy with IPS, but it seems like all the pieces should be here.

Hello! I'm having some trouble getting a block to work in a template. This is my first attempt, so it's probably something wrong that I'm doing. The block content was originally a chunk of the template content. I was experimenting to see if I could move it into a block with it still able to work. Nope. Hello! Often I'm working with two browser tabs open, each showing me a different page in the AdminCP. In this situation, IPS Community constantly asks me to re-authenticate, which is really frustrating. Is there some setting that will allow me to circumvent this? Thanks!

In the notifications, I see you can select email notification of calendar reminder and turn off the ability for a user to be able to change this. The problem is, it appears as though the user has to select a calendar reminder for each given event. I wish to create a members calendar where all events that are created send out a notification reminder that cannot be turned off. Or failing that, send out a notification when a new event is created in a given calendar. How do I do this please? If it can be restricted to a given group, that would be better.

I am performing a test install for a new community on a standalone forum license. My MySQL server requires SSL for connections to prevent MitM attacks. When providing MySQL Server Details, I receive the following red message error: SSL connection is required. Please specify SSL options and retry. Is there any way to enable SSL connection to MySQL? Hi - we have a team of 8 who are in a group of their own and then a secondary group. Whenever they make a comment, their role changes to the secondary group and I have to go in and manually change it again. This is her secondary group.

Hello! I'm wondering if there's a way to set individual members, within the Moderators group, to be the moderators of a specific forum in IPB 4.1.x For example, I have forums X, Y, and Z, and I have Mod A and Mod B. I want to make Mod A the moderator of both forums X and Y, and Mod B have control of forums Y and Z. Is there any way to do that so that Mod A doesn't have control over forum Z, and Mod B over forum X? Hello! I know, this may be strange, but let me explain I'm owner of big community. I want to give permission for adding users to specific groups to my staff team. For example: Staff Team can add user only to "players" group and delete users from "players" group (nothing more, nothing less). Tech Support can add user only to "high command" group (delete as well). //Only examples to imagine you what I want. Is it possible to do this? Or, is there any add-on what allows me to do such thing?

Hi everyone, We have a private, password-protected thread, and people are not getting notifications when they post, despite their notifications being set correctly (they get notifications OK when they post on other public threads).
