Hello! I want to ask if anyone has tried some of the following to have advertisements show only on certain forums ? <if condition="!in_array($forum['forumid'], array(137,139))"> this is the if we used on vb, . we do not need the ecommerce app that is available yet,.. we only have simple <if> we need ... I know there is a way to have the advertisement show on a custom place, at the adminCp but i think this method doesnt include which forum sections they appear in. Or does anyone know how/where to do this by editing of html/ css ? thank you..!

I've looked on this site for information about this but apart from the news post there isn't anything I can find via search: The language used here makes me think that this feature is simply always on until you apply the group setting. However, it is not working on my site: This account has numerous name changes and they all appear in the ACP. I've tried it with the default theme and it doesn't work on there either. Is there a setting that I am missing?

Hello! I would like to ask you if anyone has classifieds and has the users (members) move their own finished classifieds (topics) into a "trashbin" forum section. previously we have had it like this members had specific extra privileges in the only certain section that includes all classified ads. we have a rule that everyone has to clean up after his classifieds and is allowed only one topic with all his for sale items because otherwise they are too many. to save space the members have to send their own sold /inactive classified (topics) back to the trashbin forum section (the trashbin section gets deleted every co…

Hello, all signatures have imported well from vbulletin 3.8 to ip.4. but , they are not visible to members. only as an admin i can see them. groups, have signatures activated, and anywhere where there is a signature option its enabled. what am i missing, (i definately am i guess) what could i do to make them visible to members? When i reply to a PM ... i press Submit ... but the message not appear ... i need to refresh the browser page ... Any ideeas why the ajax efect not work on PM anymore ? Hello, I am having a problem with the Articles database. I use this database to store my articles which are shown on the front page of the website with one of the templates that IPS 4 ships with (3 columns and featured image). At the moment all article records are visible to all members and guests of the site. I want to start adding premium content in the Articles database that will only be accessible to subscribing members. I can do this by creating a database category and setting custom permissions on that category so that only members in the subscriber group can see the articles. This works. Hello, urgent! (just migrated from vbulletin, site is online) the forums are visible only to logged in members, but invisible to not logged in members. i have set all forums to "view" for all groups I have set permissions for groups that are named unregistered etc to "view" and read the forums I dont know where else to look for in order to make the forums visible to not logged in /unregisterd members! please help!

Hello after importing from vbulletin 3.8, at ip4. reputation automatically is at 10 for all members . ( all 18.000 active registered members) I want to reset it to 0. I have removed reputation levels. (dont want them right now) after searching i couldnt find a way to do that- how can I remove those automatic 10points ? thank you!

Please help, how can i change this back into the normal list of topics /sections being shown in a category? this is how its supposed to be (forumbox1) and this is how its now (forumbox) (ignore the different colours) is it something that can disabled in the theme.... ? or where ? . when i change the theme, is returns to normal, .... but unfortunately not in the theme that we want to be using...! thank you so much please help! Reading through the upgrade guide and noticed that we have to select User names or display names when upgrading to version 4 from an earlier version. This only affects the display name correct? And, no matter what, users have to use their email address that they registered with as the username to login. This is also correct? These seem like two separate changes so I just want to be clear.

I just want to make sure here before I report something. To save the changes from theme to theme version I want to confirm first we must change the version number then make our changes so they are saved when a client uses the upgrade theme feature instead of a fresh install. Thank You

I have created around 15 different groups of clients for my customers. As an example, let's say I created a group called users1. When users1 purchases a product they are moved into a new group. Now let's say I have another group called users2 and my client purchases that product which will also assign that person to that group. So I now have one client that purchased 2 products and should belong to 2 groups however I only see one group showing in the post profile for example. Should 1 or both groups be showing? I only have 1 that shows in post profile for example. Thanks

On my forum IPB v.3. we have sponsors who have their own forum section and they have limited moderation rights in that forum section only is there a way to assign a member moderation rights to specific forums in IPB 4 ? I've looked all around acp but don't seem to be able to do this

Hi, as i understood you should (or better have to) create profile fields, user groups and stuff like that in front of the migration. But what about the forum structure? Maybe its something obvious, but I am missing it. In IP.Content when you create a feed block you had a list of variables you can use for that feed. Is there such thing in Pages? What I am trying to do is get the gps coordinates of a geotagged pictures in Gallery. It was easily doable in IP.Content, but I cannot see how to do it in Pages.

I have Contact Us set to create a support request. Most departments are set up in Commerce to allow submissions. It appears that I may select only one of the available departments set up in Commerce to receive it. For the department selected I have "submission text" defined but when using the form as either member or Guest I never see the text. I feel I must have missed a setup step or two How/when is the submission text meant to display? Ideally I could also force the user to choose a department so that department-specific submission text would be shown; however form displays no select option. Hi, in the previous version (3.4.8), there was a field like "Board Index Page Title" (very important for SEO) an other (not so important) stuff like Meta description.
